Thanks, Officer!
Woman in the Middle | June 29, 2017I was still in bed this morning when a fully dressed Hubby walked in and asked if I had anything planned for today. Given the time of the morning and the fact that is is a weekday, I knew immediately what the problem was. “What is wrong with your car?”
“Well, according to the officer who pulled me over, I have no break lights.” “Oh no!” I said. “Did he give you a ticket?” “Nope” Hubby replied.”
One break light out means you need a new bulb. But, when the whole break light system goes out you have a bigger problem, but one you don’t usually know about. Since Hubby commutes quite a distance on both the freeway and surface streets, he really needs functioning break lights.
So thank you officer for pulling Hubby over to let him know of the problem. Thanks for realizing the poor guy going off to work didn’t know his entire break light system wasn’t working and not giving him a ticket.
I had nothing at all on the calendar for today so Hubby took my car off to work. Now I have a good excuse to clean those bathroom floors like I told myself I should do.
