And the Fridge was Stuffed….
Woman in the Middle | November 25, 2016Things I am grateful for at this very minute:
1. We were able to fit all the Thanksgiving leftovers in the fridge last night. Whew!
2. Six years after I convinced Hubby he could toss the ancient Kmart stereo speakers and buy himself a new pair, he finally found some he liked that fit into the space allotted, and he ordered them yesterday. What can I say, Hubby is an old school kind of guy when it comes to his music.
3. The girls braved the crowds at Target and bought some gifts last night and I didn’t have to. Yay!
4. We had a nice little group around the Thanksgiving table yesterday. It was us, cousin Michele, and our friend Chris. No awkward political talk, no drama, just eating and chatting.
5. Both of my girls are home with me today and are going to spend the day with me for my birthday, which falls awkwardly around Thanksgiving every year. I am much more excited about that than turning 55!
6. Home, family, friends, hope, furbabies….I am grateful for all of these things this day after Thanksgiving on the anniversary of when I made my entrance into the world.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
We had a surprise guest who was quite an eater so our leftovers are slim. That’s ok though. Not a turkey fan so my husband will finish that off for supper today and I’ll have some nice fish. Black Friday is not bad in my area. My local Starbucks is on mall property. I was there around 8 for my daily fix. The parking lot was active but not full. I had no problem getting in and out. Happy birthday. We have 3 T-day birthdays. This year they fell on Tues, Wed and Thursday but it’s a tossup as to whose b-day will be on t-day.
