El Fresco Dining Gets a New Meaning
Woman in the Middle | August 30, 2016A new kind of restaurant has opened in London. What makes it unique is that it serves “naked” food and is clothing optional! It is called Bunyadi and is being called “London’s first naked restaurant.”
The whole idea just sends my head spinning! I mean, imagine the issues. I am wondering how big the napkins are, because, what if you drop some in your lap, and it misses a not big enough napkin? You could have a mess in all the wrong places! What do you say to the people at your table? “Excuse me. I am not being inappropriate. I am jut trying to get a bit of avocado out of my who who”
How about older women? Certain things are not as firm and perky as they once were. I just have visions of reaching for the bread basket and dangling something into the dinner plate…..
On the Bunyadi website the food was called “naked” as well, because it was made “without the use of fire, electricity, or gas.” FYI, that means if you got the non-vegan meals your meat was raw. Vegan, here I come!
For those of you craving the experience of the next new thing, I hate to tell you but the naked restaurant was just a pop up and it already closed a couple of weeks ago. Sorry, you will have to find another excuse to shed your clothes next time you are in London!
What the hell, you wouldn’t find me eating there ever, the thought is disturbing
I agree.
