30 Big Ones
Woman in the Middle | May 4, 2016Thirty years ago today, I married the love of my life! Gosh, lots of things have happened in those 30 years. Most have been good things, some not so good. The not so good stuff was beyond our control, like illness and death, but we survived it all. Oh, how time flies! Thirty years ago I could only imagine what life would be like when we were in our 50s. Now we are living it!
Who was that skinny girl with the brown hair? And who was that handsome guy with the black moustache? I am no longer skinny. My hair is no longer brown (unless I dye it, and I don.t). He is still handsome, but that moustache is almost white.
“Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be, the last of life, for which the first was made. Our times are in his hand who saith, ‘A whole I planned, youth shows but half; Trust God: See all, nor be afraid!” Robert Browning
P.S. What was with that wedding bouquet? It is gigantic!
Congratulations! I hope you have 30 more!
Great picture!
Hell yeah where does the time go Tim and I have been together 33 year this June and married for 32 years in September thankfully I can still say he is the man I want to grow old with and we still enjoy being together. Congratulations to you two, hope you have many more wonderful years together
When I see you two made it to 30 years, I feel very proud, especially since my parents almost made it, but my mom died 6 days before it happened. I celebrate when I see other couples make it to 30 and beyond. Congratulations!
Happy Anniversary! And how beautiful you both were.
I think we all look beautiful when we are in our 20s! At least from the perspective of wrinkles, gray hair, and sunspots!
