Another Day in Paradise
Woman in the Middle | April 6, 2016I am starting this post at 8:14 a.m. So far, I have fed the old cat upteen times, starting at 6 a.m., because as long as I was in bed he was going to stand outside my bedroom door and meow as loud as he could. (Even with food in his bowl, BTW.) I have let the dog in and out. In spite of letting the dog in and out I have also cleaned up dog poo. I let the kittens in and fed them. I also managed to feed my self.
Just another day in pet paradise!
Seriously, how did my pets and carpet and floor survive when I worked outside the home? Oh that’s right, my elderly pet’s bladders and bowels were younger and could survive without near constant attention. I am not sure I remember what that was like.
Yesterday, Eldest Daughter was frustrated because the carpet in her bedroom was assaulted by the dog, twice, and one unknown pet also threw up on it. Fun times!
On the plus side, there is very little dog poo to clean up outside before the lawn is mowed on Saturday. Pitiful, I know, but I have to find my happiness where ever I can….
I can remember the days when our dog Dot Dot would come to the bedroom and scratch at the door of a morning wanting to be let out thankfully she rarely had accidents in the house
It’s very good you don’t work now – imagine how many messes you’d come home to . . .YIKES! :O
I have thought of that! It would not be good….
