What a Relief
Woman in the Middle | March 27, 2016It is over. Crazy season is over. No more birthdays (well, except we are helping a cousin celebrate her birthday next week.) No more major holidays until 4th of July. No need to decorate the house. Nothing. Nada. Whew!
Our crazy season is slightly less crazy than it used to be because I have less family to worry about and the girls are grown up now. But, starting in October, it just feels like it is go go go. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of that go go go is fun fun fun. But, by the time Easter arrives, I am over celebrating and ready for some normal days.
Tomorrow I will gather up the Easter decorations and at least get them out to the garage. Then I will put some order to the kitchen after all the Easter eating today. Then I think I will do a little shopping and return some things I need to take back. I may even stop by the library and find a good book to sink into.
Spring has arrived. My crazy season is over. Bring on regular life!
That’s funny because our birthday season is just starting! We have a whirlwind of birthdays in April and May. B-)
