Like Having a Baby
Woman in the Middle | October 16, 2015Do they have a support group for people (OK, mostly women) who can’t stop buying cat toys? If so, I may need to join.
A friend called this morning, She had suffered a concussion and asked if I would go pick up her prescriptions and some food at the local Target. I was happy to help. During the time it took for the medicine to get ready, Eldest Daughter and I looked around Target. I don’t go there very much as there isn’t one near my house and I have trouble finding what I want there for a price I am willing to pay.
However, that doesn’t mean I wasn’t willing to look around to see what Target had. Of course, I couldn’t resist going down the aisle with the cat stuff. Low and behold, they had a toy a friend told me about. It is a plastic mouse that you fill with Temptations cat treats. As your cat plays with the mouse the treats fall out. How could I resist that?
Lumos loved it. It worked perfectly. However, he wouldn’t let Nox near it. Looks like I will need to shell out $5.99 for another one.
It is like when you have a baby that is growing into a toddler and you find you just can’t resist buying them new toys. It is getting to the point that I need a toy basket and I am rotating toys in and out to keep them new and interesting for the kittens, just like I did when my kids were little.
Like I said, I think I may need a support group!
Only a true kitty lover would be so entranced with finding the perfect toy.
