Orange Kitten
Woman in the Middle | July 6, 2015I realized, in trying to keep you all up to date on the broken leg situation, I have neglected to post very much about the other kitten, the brother who doesn’t have a broken leg. He is adorable, too! Hubby was telling us last night about how he is really the hero of the whole story of how we got the kittens.
On the night we ended up finding and catching the kittens, Hubby was out in his shop when he heard the “mew” of a kitten. He went to the door of the shop and saw the orange kitten. But the kitten darted away before Hubby could get near him. Hubby started looking for him, going around behind the shop, but couldn’t find him. When he went back to the front, there was the orange kitten sitting on the stoop of the shop, looking for all the world like he didn’t have a care in the world and was just wondering where Hubby had been. When Hubby got near him, he jumped up and darted into the side yard, which we now know was where his injured brother was. If it hadn’t been for the orange kitten, we wouldn’t have found them that night and who knows what would have happened.
Here he is peaking over Youngest Daughter’s shoulder. Isn’t he just the cutest thing?
He in on my desk and very curious about the computer screen.
Just looking around on the desk.
So, there he is, the hero of the story!
What a clever cat to lead Hubby to his hurt brother! Animals do the darnedest things!
Yes so clever indeed and oh so cute
I think I’m in love. Good thing I don’t live near you or we’d wrestle for ownership of that precious kitty!
I could box him up and mail him to you! Just kidding, he is adorable, isn’t he? There is something about orange kittens that is too cute for words!
I’m a sucker for any kitten.
Isn’t just about everyone? They are so darn cute!
