Just Another Crazy Weekend….
Woman in the Middle | November 2, 2014This weekend has been a wild and crazy one, for so many reasons!
1. Water fell from the sky. Yep, as hard as that may be to believe, actual water fell from the sky. Given that our rainy season starts in January, having a significant amount of rain October 31/November 1 is very odd. Given our drought, it is even odder.
2. I wore an actual pair of long pants, socks, closed toed shoes, and a long-sleeved shirt yesterday. First time since, oh, April, or May…maybe…Just a few days before I was in my standard summer outfit of sandals and capris. What was even weirder about our little rain storm was that it brought cold weather with it. We were 10 degrees below normal yesterday. Not complaining, just saying…..
3. Hubby and I had to sleep under a blanket last night. Of course, sometime in the middle of the night I got too warm. Sigh….
4. I actually figured out the twist in a murder mystery party. Last night we went to a murder mystery part at a friend’s house. I can never figure those things out. They always throw a twist in at the end and it is never as simple as just naming the murderer. I actually figured out the twist! No one else thought of it until I brought it up. I was shocked that I even thought of it. Maybe age does bring wisdom…at least at murder mystery parties.
Hope you are having a good weekend!
I would love to go to a murder mystery party they sound like so much fun, we usually sleep under some kind of covering even in summer as we have a ceiling fan and an air conditioner in the bedroom. I like the change in seasons as it gives us a chance to wear different clothes I think it would be boring if the weather was the same all year round
That murder mystery party reminds me of the book by Agatha Christie, A Murder Is Announced, except it WAS a real murder in her book. I would love to go to a murder mystery party!
