Why the Cat Gets His Photo Taken and the Dog Doesn’t
Woman in the Middle | July 21, 2014Blackie the cat was lying on the window seat at his favorite window recently. I couldn’t resist taking a few photos, even though I have many of him looking out this window already. Isn’t he adorable?
I am just showing you two of the photos I took. Believe me, there are many more.
But I felt a little guilty when I was finished. I take so few photos of Honey the dog and I have so very few good photos of her, looking happy with her ears standing up. So I decided to take a couple of her, too. First I got this:
Then I got this shot:
I finally reached down and held her head up so I could actually get a picture of her face. Note the look: “What did I do wrong, Mom, that you are torturing me so?” Note the ears, as well.
When future generations go back though my photos they are going to assume I loved cats and barely liked dogs. which isn’t true at all. If only Honey didn’t get all upset by the camera I would take more photos of her, really I would!
You are lucky Blackie is easy to snap. I have lots of tails, rearends, ears, paws and other cat parts. They seem to pose best when they just are waking up. Then they hear the clicking noise from the camera and its sayonara baby!
Some dogs are just camera shy. My Rozie was like Honey and it was so hard to get a good shot of her. The best photos of her are only in my memory and in my heart.
Yeah the dog seems to be a bit camera shy compared to the cat who loves to show off and be photographed
Honey the dog is such an adorable cutie-pie, so it’s too bad that she won’t let you take her picture.
