Social Media is Baffling…
Woman in the Middle | May 23, 2014I find much of social media baffling. I am sure it has to do with my age. But in spite of all that I am on Facebook. I officially have a Facebook page where my ever-growing list of friends (who knew I had so many….) update me with photos of grandkids and this and that.
I also recently got on Pinterest. I find Pinterest even more baffling. Don’t get me wrong, I love going on Pinterest when I need to find something. Recently I was in charge of centerpieces for a golf themed event. Just went on Pinterest and found all kinds of ideas. But this concept of collecting “pins.” I just can’t make it my new favorite hobby. Again, it may be an age thing. I have six boards currently. My favorite is for Blackie the Cat. We have so many photos of that animal. I would do a board for Honey the dog but she does not photograph well. She figured out that a light often shines in her eyes when that little black device called a camera comes out. She looks away at the last second in 99 out of 100 photos. That dog is too smart for her own good and mine as well!
Anyway, if you want to see my Blackie board or the others I have put together feel free. They can be found at http://www.pinterest.com/kimjj61/
If you don’t feel like going on Pinterest to see my boards you won’t hurt my feelings. You probably find social media baffling, too.
I find it all pretty baffling too and Pinterest even more so. I would share a link to my boards but no idea what the link would be. I don’t think it’s age but it may be we have reached a certain technological saturation level?
I saw the pics of Blackie the Cat. He does look like he’s putting up with all of the “stupid people” in the pic with the stuffed animal. Well, he’ll just have to get over it if he wants to stay fed.
