The Garden Tour
Woman in the Middle | April 28, 2013The garden tour this past weekend was lovely. I enjoyed all three that we visited, even though they were not the style of garden that I would choose, if I had unlimited time and money. I actually have a pretty decent yard. It just needs more attention, like so many aspects of my life. So I was jealous of the way the yards looked, all neat and spiffy. I also decided I need more yard art and immediately asked for that for Mother’s Day. We shall see if that happens…. Here are some photos of pretty things I saw.
Here is a plant in an old metal bread box.
You missed the beautiful garden off of Ovelook. The front had Iris, roses many varities of spring blooms. The back was like woodland glade, wth paths, a bridge, a water feature & koi pond. Beautiful, but I couldn’t help thinking of all the work involved.
Time was limited, which was why we didn’t go to that one. But I wish I had, it sounds beautiful!
I liked the pictures you have shared with us…………..I do like a nice garden…………
I love a good garden, too!
Have you ever seen the gardens at the Huntington Library and Gardens? They have so many gardens you cannot see them all in one day even if you ran to get to each one! They have jungles, English Gardens, Japanese and other Asian gardens, and many more. The place is like an adult Disneyland.
I was there a long time ago. Your comment makes me want to go again!
